BarCamp Chattanooga Offers Up Hyperlocal Blogging Tips Galore

barcamp-chatt-hyperlocal

Last Saturday approximately 75 technophiles descended on Chattanooga for the “unconference” conference, BarCamp Chatt. We (Knoxify’s founding fathers, Brandon Clarke and Casey Peters) had the opportunity to sit on a hyperlocal blogging panel with the fine folks from Nashvillest, Chattarati, and The Terminal. We found out that Knoxville isn’t all that different from its neighboring cities.

Chiefly organized by Daniel Ryan, the schedule for BarCamp Chatt included some 23 presentations on topics ranging from iPhone development to Social Media. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay for the entire conference but what little time we had we spent discussing all things hyperlocal.

If you want to hear us blab about how awesome Knoxify is please give our panel discussion a look and listen below. We took away a lot of great insight that will likely show up on this site in the near future.

If another BarCamp pops up in or around your region, we would highly encourage you to attend as learning opportunities were seemingly endless.

  1. The video from your panel is far and away our most popular. 5 times more views than the next one down.
