On January 12th of this year, we launched a campaign to help local Knoxvillian’s find jobs by allowing them to post their resumés free of charge on our site. Up to today, the ‘Hire Me’ series has been successful by exposing those needing jobs to local, hiring businesses.

For all the Knoxville businesses out there that may be hiring, this is just a friendly reminder that we have well over 100 locals still seeking jobs via our resumé hub. We have classified their talent into 22 categories for easier review.
For those still job hunting, you can upload your resumé via our form here.

knoxvillebiz dispatched a tweet yesterday that contained good news for job seekers: “Hey job seekers: FedEx is offering free resume printing.” Click here for more info.

Thanks to a lot of publicity, our ‘Hire Me’ series has been hotter than a two-dollar pistol. We’ve been fortunate enough to help a group of Knoxvillians gain more exposure in hopes of landing new jobs.
One of those job seekers is Santiago Ramirez, a marketing/public relations/management professional. Last week Mr. Ramirez answered our video casting call for an opportunity to sit down and tell us more about himself.
Watch as Santiago tells us why he loves Knoxville so much in a video sponsored by MSQ Studio and JAO Productions. Video after the jump.

Thanks to an offer from Claris Networks, the Knoxify guys sat down for an interview with Dan Thompson and Michele Silva last Friday morning on WBIR.
After the show, our inbox began to overflow with more resumés. If you know of a business that is hiring please direct them to our Knoxville Resumés repository.

We’re sad to say that our resumé section continues to grow. The past several weeks have landed more talented job seekers in our inbox.
New additions to our Knoxville Resumés section include:
If you or someone you know is hiring make sure and comb our impressive list here.

Resumés are continuing to pile up in our Knoxville Resumés section. We recently added Dave Long, Vania Smrkovski, and Mike Hankes to the list. Their talents lie in the industries of IT and editorial/writing.
I’m sure they’d love to hear from you if you’ve got a job for them.

As we stated in a mass e-mail late last night, the ‘Hire Me’ series has received a permanent home. Due to an overwhelming response from the community we have decided to categorize and list each resumé in the new Knoxville Resumés section of our site.
We did this for a couple of reasons: as with any blog, posts start at the top and slowly fade down the homepage eventually making friends with other archived posts. With so many resumés not everyone would have received frontpage exposure like we would have wanted them to.
The resume’s we have received so far have been outstanding. Mohammad’s is no exception.
