As I sit here chomping away at my BoBerry biscuits from Bojangle’s, the urge to ask the awesome readers of this here blog about breakfast has swept over me.
What is your favorite breakfast spot in Knoxville?

To add to the list: Long’s and for Sunday brunch, either DGB or Tomato Head. I love Pete’s and Gourmet’s too.

My favorite is a combination of coffee from Old City Java and a scone from VG’s Bakery in Farragut. This only applies on Farmer’s Market days since I never visit Farragut nowadays.
Of course, I can always replace VG’s with a petite carrot cake from The Plum Baker when they’re available!

totally off the subject, but since we’re talking about good food — Magpies bakery just sent out a message that they’ve got extra inventory of cakes at 50% off if you mention you heard about the sale on Facebook

Waffle house. Definitely. *wink*
I really have no idea. I never eat breakfast out in Knoxville, other than grabbing a bagel from Panera. That is my question — where can I get a great NYC style bagel in this town??

@Meg: Best Bagels in Town. On the east side of the shopping center behind Walgreens at Kingston Pike and Peters Road.

What? Is Cracker Barrell too cliche?

@Jonathan Haskell: There’s no shame in my Cracker Barrel game. I normally reserve those breakfast’s for road trips along I-40.
