Modern Gal ... I second that motion! There just isn't enough time, it seems, to get it all done. I frequently wish for 36 hour days and 10 day weeks!

I am a huge fan of all the craft shows that are held all during the holiday season - there's one at Bearden Middle School, and the Pilot Club show in Oak Ridge that come right to mind. The tree lighting downtown is also a big holiday event, even though we missed that this year. I hear the Shadrack Marine light show is not to be missed too. Ranging further out, there are all the events and activities in Sevier County - Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg - craft shows, music, shopping without end, as they kick off their holiday event schedule over the Thanksgiving weekend.

I wish they'd let Fantasy of Trees run a little bit longer! There was no way in heck I was going to make it this past week, but now that I have time to go, it's gone :( I guess next year.
