We’re using our reg­u­larly sched­uled Fri­day Ques­tion time slot to bring you some­thing a lit­tle dif­fer­ent this week: a list of week­end events and a ques­tion on which are wor­thy of our atten­dance. First up, the events.

  • Giant Cloth­ing Swap — The “The Live More Sim­ply So We Can Sim­ply Live Event” will go down in Mar­ket Square at 9AM on Sat­ur­day. The on-site sewing sta­tions are pulling at our heart strings.
  • Walk It Out — The annual walk for Type 1 Dia­betes will kick-off on Sat­ur­day at 8:30AM in World’s Fair Park. Let’s find a cure people.
  • Renais­sance Far­ragut Fes­ti­val — Sat­ur­day at 9AM “a free, one-day street fair cel­e­bra­tion of renais­sance cul­ture, and cui­sine” will kick-off in Farragut.
  • All Jokes Aside — Regal Enter­tain­ment Group has brought Jay Leno to Knoxville for a Sat­ur­day night show at 8PM. This annual event fea­tures major head­lin­ers to help raise money for the non-profit His­toric Ten­nessee The­atre Foundation.
