full-boost-tuning

If you’re anything like my boyfriend, Michael, your main goal while driving is to be the fastest car on the road. A Honda guy since he got his license, a few months ago he decided it was time for a new car — and he chose the Subaru WRX with some aftermarket upgrades. The problem? Honda’s and Subaru’s are pretty different cars and the WRX he purchased happened to need some upkeep and attention just months into the purchase. It just so happened that the previous owner did some of the modifications a little (how should I say it?) half-assed, and Michael was stuck with a car he didn’t know how to work on.

Of course we tried the obvious, took the car to Subaru, took it to the Toyota dealership he bought it at – but it was pretty clear that he needed to find a place specializing in aftermarket mods. Luckily for Michael, a trip to AdvancedAuto for some headlights lead him to the perfect shop for his car – Full Boost Tuning.

Located on Alcoa Highway, Full Boost is a performance shop specializing in imports. The shop opened just over a month ago, and already owner Nick is busy increasing the horsepower of numerous cars, including Michael’s WRX (now at about 500HP).

Aside from the fact that Nick’s really reasonable when it comes to pricing, he is also really experienced when it comes to cars, and I’m convinced there’s not anything he can’t fix. (A graduate of Universal Technical Institute, he most recently worked at Nissan before deciding to go in business for himself.) Not to mention, he’s a really nice guy!

So if you’re feeling the need for speed, call Full Boost at (865) 249‑7591 or head over to 3022D Alcoa Highway, behind SHA Automotive. And if you happen to see a black WRX in the parking lot, say hi to my boyfriend for me.
