Zilpy.com is showing that Knoxville is 44% renters with a monthly rent affordability of $687. Proof that I pay too much.

I think we’re paying about what we should for a high-end apartment. I think the average price takes into account the vast number of students, who are paying much less than we are for a roof over their heads.
