Knoxvillian’s are fortunate enough to have several lakes to choose from to soak those hot summer days. One of my personal faves is Norris Lake.
Have you been to the lake this summer? If so, what’s your favorite watering hole?

I second Norris Lake. I have been boating at Norris for the past 10 years. Interestingly enough, I am an Ohioan (Cleveland area) and have been my whole life. However, there are no lakes in Ohio that come close to those in TN. I’ll be visiting Norris again next week for vacation and am really looking forward to it. I have been following this site for quite some time and look forward to becoming a Knoxvillian in the next few years so I can more readily take advantage of the lakes and boating.
I’ve been out on the lake a lot this year. I normally hang in prater flats if we’re in the party & music kinda mood. On weekend mornings you’ll usually find me over in the cover by The Cove off Northshore.
