Please welcome our new Executive Editor, Jody Collins

It’s hard to believe that Knoxify will turn three-years old in just a few months. What started out as an internet meeting place between two friends has grown into a genuine, unscripted hub of info on what makes Knoxville a great place to live, work and play.

With growth comes more items that need to be tackled which can be hard to do with little to no extra resources. Fortunately for us we have loyal friends that are willing to help. Meet Jody Collins.

Jody has been covering the music and entertainment scene for Knoxify since July of last year. His articles have covered album and concert reviews, and also individual interviews with local bands. Jody did such a great job we offered him our Executive Editor position.

His experience didn’t start with us. Jody has over 19 years of experience in the design and print industry, co-created KnoxBands and was Publisher of a monthly magazine, Paperthin. In the community, he sits on both the United Way board for social media and the marketing board for Most Pet Friendly Community.

As the Executive Editor, Jody will oversee all editorial content and represent Knoxify in the public sector. With a lot of luck this site has fell into place week after week for a long time but with Jody’s help, we will place a more formal structure around our operations.

Please help us welcome Jody and if you’d like to get in touch with him you can do so via Twitter or our contact form.
