Inspired by our friends at Chattarati we are happy to announce a new online local giving project called First Friday Five. The first Friday of each month we will profile a local non-profit and ask Knoxify readers to donate $5.

With the economic downturn, non-profits are in need of more funds to meet ever growing needs, and we are excited to introduce our readers to worthy agencies.
